Kenya Adams

Kenya L Adams has a deep-seated root to Tacoma. She was born and raised on the Eastside of Tacoma and throughout her artist career has worked with organizations including Fab5, Write253, Tacoma arts Live and was a former board member on Tacoma Creates Initiatve She is fueled by her passion to serve, provide access and create avenues that uplift youth, families and build strong communities. Committed to being a lifelong learner and knowledge sharing, she is currently a full time student pursuing her Masters In Teaching at Evergreen State College, Tacoma Campus. Her love for art and creation is a direct connection to how she connects with the life, this world of many cultures and the communities near and far to her. She loves colors, shapes, nature and the ability to connect all things through visual, performance and literary arts.
